Eastview Baptist Church will host a daddy/daughter dance February 11. The night will include dinner, dessert, crafts, and special appearances from Disney princesses. Tickets are $30 and available for purchase now. All proceeds go to the Eastview Children’s Ministry. Call 986-3168 or email Eastviewb@att.net to reserve tickets.

Sweetheart Dinner

Hollow Rock Fire Dept. is sponsoring a Sweetheart Dinner and Dance on February 11 from 6-10 p.m. at Station 1 Fire Department, located at 29035 Broad St. It is $20 per couple or $12 single. The dinner will be: pork tenderloin, green beans, baked potato, drink, and dessert. There will be live music by Touch of Grey, a silent auction, and drawings.

WCES Book Fair

West Carroll Elementary School will hold their book fair February 13-17. It will be open daily during school hours, and open February 14 until 7 p.m.

The Carroll County Humane Society will host an all you can eat buffet breakfast February 18 from 7-10 a.m. at the Carroll Bank & Trust community room in Huntingdon. Adults eat for $7 and kids under 10 eat for $3.

A benefit for Lynn Taylor Milam will be held February 19 from 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at Mount Zion United Methodist Church, located at 120 Mt Zion Rd in Huntingdon. The meal will include baked spaghetti, salad, roll, drink and dessert. Donations will be taken. All proceeds go to Lynn as she continues to battle inflammatory breast cancer.

The Life Line Teen Challenge class is held every Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Hickory Flat Methodist Church, located at 4040 Highway 70 in Cedar Grove, for those struggling with addiction. For more information, contact Brandi Chase at 423-509-9312.

Carroll County Office on Aging will present a Black History program February 24 at 2 p.m. in the conference room of the Carroll County Office Complex. The featured speaker will be Pastor Wilma Pearson of Johnson Temple Methodist Church in McKenzie. Light refreshments will be served after the program.

Bruceton Masonic Lodge will have a Master Mason degree February 25. There will be a meal at 8 a.m. and work will begin at 9 a.m.

Benefit BBQ

A bar-b-que and auction benefit will be held February 25 from 2:30-7:30 p.m. at Rosser Post, located at 1370 Highway 219 in Huntingdon. The all you can eat event is $10 for adults, $6 for children ages five-12, and free for children four and under. Proceeds will go to David and Lorene Burkholder for their medical bills.

Family Fun Night

New Hope UMC will host Family Fun Night at the Vale Community Center February 25 from 6-9 p.m. There will be games, movies, and light concessions available. The event is free.

Krider Idol

The Krider Performing Arts Center will host Krider Idol February 25 at 7 p.m. Admission is $5. All proceeds go to benefit the Youth For the Arts Enrichment Program.
