    The Holladay-McIllwain VFD will host a Firehouse Fever Cruz-In on Saturday, Oct. 1 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Holladay School in Holladay. The event is open to all makes, models and years. BBQ pork, chicken and bologna will be available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be oldies music all day, a 50/50 drawing and more. Proceeds to Benefit the Holladay-McIllwain VFD.     Hunter Education Field Day

    8:00 am-12:00 pm

    There will be a Hunter Education Field Day, sponsored by the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, on Saturday, Oct. 8, from 8 a.m. to noon at the Big Sandy High School. You must be at least nine years old and bring a printout of successful completion of the online course or the CD course to the field day.     Harvest Family Festival

    7:00 pm-8:00 pm

    First Baptist Church in Bruceton, located at 30960 Broad St, will hold the Harvest Family Festival October 8 from 7-8 p.m. Chuck Day, writer of “Midnight Cry” will perform.

    Trunk or Treat

    6:00 pm-9:00 pm

    First Baptist Church, Bruceton will host a Trunk or Treat October 26 beginning at 6 p.m. There will be door prizes, costume awards, a cake walk, candy, a bouncy house, and games for all ages.
