Jane Kemp McCoy, 74, of Huntingdon passed away Monday, October 3 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services were held October 6 at the Huntingdon First United Methodist Church, with Rev. Mark Carrigan and Bro. Steve Atkins officiating. Burial followed at Poplar Grove Cemetery in Drummonds.
Mrs. McCoy was born November 1, 1941, in Murray, Ky. to the late Clovis Howard and Carolyn Louise (Wynns) Kemp. She was a retired health facilities surveyor with the Tennessee Department of Health. She was a member of Huntingdon First United Methodist Church, Huntingdon Women’s Club, Sigma Kappa sorority at Lambuth College, and Miss Lambuth 1960.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Sam McCoy; one daughter, Rachel (Ray) Fracchia of Memphis; one son, Sammie (Shelley) McCoy of Franklin; one brother, Howard (Jill) Kemp of McCall, Idaho; and five grandchildren, Mary Facchia, Raymond Fracchia, Jane Fracchia, Gracie McCoy, and Sam Ross McCoy.
