Those named to the 2016 West Carroll Junior High Football Homecoming Court were recognized Thursday night in Atwood during pregame ceremonies.
Eighth grader NaKhila Parker was crowned as this year’s homecoming queen. The daughter of Ryanne Parker, NaKhila was escorted by Cody Wildridge, son of Rodney and Gina Wildridge, and Jack Barrow, son of Reece and Susan Barrow.
Other eighth grade representatives included Macey Fain, daughter of Rick and Rebekah Jones and Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Fain; Kaylie Harris, daughter of Charlie and Ashley Gardner; and Kassidy Simmons, daughter of Marty Simmons and April Simmons.
Serving as escorts for Macey were Tyler Smith, son of Brandon and Kimberly Smith, and Joshua Clark, son of Patrick Clark and Daliah Clark.
Kaylie was escorted by Garret Baker, son of Jeremy and Bridgett Baker, and, Timmy Gilford, son of Elisha Gilford.
Dalton McAfee, son of Derrik McAfee, and Thalia Townsend, daughter of Troy and Michelle Larsen, escorted Kassidy onto the field.
Seventh grade representatives were Brooklyn Polinski, daughter of Tommy and Stephanie Polinski and Jessica and Charles Estes; Mayce Springer, daughter of Johnny Springer and the late Michelle Springer; and Hannah Walters, daughter of Amber Waters and Bobby Whitmore. Brooklyn was escorted by Jacob Polinski, son of Tommy and Stephanie Polinski, and Trey Browning, son of Rick and Andrea Browning.
Devin Rader, son of Nancy Transou, and Colton Hart, son of Roger and Sandy Hart, served as Mayce’s escorts.
Hannah’s escorts were Hunter Lindsey, son of Patrick and Kim Lindsey, and Hayden Hillard, son of David and Tonya Hillard.
