Thomas Ray Taylor, 52, of New Johnsonville, passed away Saturday, Sept. 3. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Sept. 7, at noon, at Plunk Funeral Home of Camden with Joe Rhodes officiating. Burial followed at the Camden City Cemetery.
Mr. Taylor was born Sept. 23, 1963, in Carroll County, to Geraldine “Jerrie” White Taylor, of Camden, and the late Thomas J. Taylor. He was a member of Eastside Baptist Church.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Thomas E. and Beatrice Taylor, and maternal grandparents, Troy and Margie White.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sons, Cody and Mitchell Taylor, both of New Johnsonville; a brother, Billy Joe (Trish) Taylor, of Hollow Rock; one grandchild, Kennedie Taylor, of Waverly; a niece, Shelby Taylor, and a great-nephew, Easton G. Taylor, both of Bruceton; and three step-sons, Jake Coble, of Japan, and Koty and Devon Coble, both of Martin.
Pallbearers who served were Matt Salyers, Rex Berry, Trent Thompson, Johnathan Culp, Todd Collomp, Lance Loveless, and Jarratt Hooper.
